(The Prophecy)

alle vite de Sommi Pontefici by Joachim di Fiore
In Venetia, Preffo Christoforo Tomafini,

PROFETIE Dell' Abbate Gioachino
is a book on Papal prophecies also contained in recently re-discovered manuscript THE LOST BOOK OF NOSTRADAMUS
( NOSTRADAMUS VATINICIA CODE)

This book was also known as VATICANIA DE SUMMIS PONTIFICIBUS
“In spite of its importance in the history of medieval spiritual life, manuscripts of the Vaticinia are not common on the market. A mid fifteenth-century copy was sold in these rooms, 5 December 1989, lot 100. Another, once belonging to Sir Sydney Cockerell, appeared in H.P. Kraus, Monumenta, 1974, no.37 and In Retrospect, 1978, no.60. An early seventeenth-century manuscript was in the Phillipps sale in our rooms, 28 November 1967, lot 124, and is now in the Bodleian.” Sotheby
“The manuscript contains one of the strangest and most intriguing of medieval texts: the mystical prophecies concerning the papacy ascribed to the famous Calabrian abbot and visionary, Joachim of Fiore (c.1135-1202). The prophecies, which perhaps originated in Byzantium.”

"...In 1994, Italian journalist Enza Massa found herself at the Italian National Library in Rome conducting research on old manuscripts, when she stumbled upon an unusual find ; a mysterious manuscript. The name of the manuscript was intriguing: NOSTRADAMUS VATINICIA CODE. On the inside of the book was the name of the author, in indelible ink—Michel de Notredame—(the prophet Nostradamus.)
This magnificent manuscript included over eighty watercolor illustrations that were hand painted by the Nostradamus himself.. Contained in the pages of the book are cryptic, prophetic images that some believe to be prediction of world's future.
"Letters, symbolic objects, banners, candles, crosses, and even a burning tower are all included in the manuscript. Are these images visual manifestations of his quatrains, which extend to the 21st century, as some say? How did this book come to be in the library?
Why was this book hidden for over 400 years? And are these images so frightening that Nostradamus deliberately hid them, as some say, until their time was near?"
